Grandma’s Chocolate Cake

  Cozy up with a slice of heaven. Grandma’s Chocolate Cake is super simple and simply delicious!

Grandma’s Chocolate Cake

Total Time: Prep: 15 minutes, Cook Time: 30-40 min

Yields: 18 serving


  • 2 tsp. Baking soda
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp. Distilled White Vinegar
  • 2 tsp. Vanilla extract
  • 2 cups cold water
  • Icing or topping or choice


Sift flour, sugar, salt, cocoa, oil, vinegar, vanilla, and water into a bowl and mix well. Pour into a baking pan and bake at 350 degrees F for 30 to 40 minutes.

Frost with your favorite icing or topping.
